Fairfield, CA – Para Ti Global, a 501(c)(3) private non-profit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged children worldwide with access to education, medical care, and nutrition, is profoundly grateful for the exceptional success of UFC GYM's fundraiser during the 2023 Holiday season. This heartwarming initiative, spearheaded by the remarkable Brandan Garcia, raised a remarkable $40,000, embodying the spirit of giving and bringing warmth to the hearts of countless children living in poverty.
A Shared Vision for Positive Change
At Para Ti Global, our mission is clear and unwavering: "To ensure that children everywhere, regardless of financial status, upbringing, background, or race, have the opportunity to learn and grow. In doing so, we also hope to facilitate an end to poverty by uplifting the young minds of our generation through quality education, medical care, and nutrition."
Every year, our most significant projects revolve around Christmas, where we endeavor to bring warmth and joy to children living in poverty around the world. In 2022, we provided 10,800 meals to children in need. This year, our goal was to surpass that milestone, and with the incredible support from UFC GYM and Brandan Garcia, we achieved something truly remarkable.
UFC GYM's “Lifting a Child is Lifting Our Future” Fundraiser Competition
UFC GYM, in partnership with several of their East and West Coast locations, launched an inspiring fundraiser competition, which commenced on November 27th, 2023. The rules were simple yet impactful: for every dollar donated, a chosen coach would perform a burpee. East and West Coast donations were tallied, and the competition was fierce.
Brandan Garcia, an instrumental figure in this fundraiser, exhibited exceptional leadership and dedication to our shared cause. His passion and commitment played a pivotal role in the success of this initiative.
West Coast Dominance and Heartfelt Contributions
We are thrilled to announce that the West Coast came out on top, with nearly double the donations compared to the East Coast. UFC GYMS/UFC FITS from both coasts wholeheartedly participated in this endeavor. The following locations were instrumental in making this fundraiser a resounding success:
