Fairfield, California — Para Ti Global, a renowned 501(c)(3) private non-profit organization, celebrated a significant milestone in its international outreach with the successful launch of its first pilot project in Rajasansi Village, Distt Amritsar, Punjab, India, on February 9, 2024. Known for its comprehensive efforts to combat poverty and support education globally, Para Ti Global has expanded its reach to India, joining its existing initiatives in the United States, The Philippines, Mexico, Ghana, and Cuba.
In a move that underscores its commitment to ensuring that children everywhere have the opportunity to pursue education, Para Ti Global visited the Baba Deep Singh School in a rural area of Rajasansi Village. This initiative brought much-needed educational supplies and support to a community where governmental assistance is minimal. Students at the school received notebooks, shoes, and T-shirts, materials essential for their daily education yet out of reach for many.
This event marked not only the provision of immediate support but also Para Ti Global's pledge to continue backing the school, highlighting a long-term commitment to the children's education and wellbeing in the area.
Armaan Khaira, appointed the Director Designate of India within Para Ti Global's regional leadership on a trial period, played a pivotal role in this initiative. A 10th-grade student from Angelo-Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, USA, Khaira has shown an unwavering commitment to creating positive change. His recent efforts in India, in collaboration with the Municipal Corporation of Raja Sansi and the school's administration, have brought attention to the pressing needs of underprivileged children in the area.
The local newspaper lauded the initiative, stating, "Armaan Khaira and Para Ti Global have addressed the critical needs of the community by providing essential goods to impoverished children. This partnership has illuminated the path for further educational support and development in the region."
