A little about Armaan:

I am currently a student at Angelo-Rodriguez High School. I am driven by a desire to create positive change in the lives of those less fortunate than myself, both in America and in my parents' homeland of India. In these regions, countless children and adults find themselves deprived of education, and compelled to sell things on the streets. 

Having recently visited India, the gravity of the situation became even more apparent to me. The conditions were far worse than I had originally thought because little to no people were doing something about it. I became even more determined as I recognized the necessity to provide food, education, and healthcare to the underprivileged, and I am committed to becoming a helpful member to create meaningful change in these communities.
